what our clients say about us
Reluctant to part with my trusty Minolta, my husband presented me with a Canon Digital IXUS 860 IS camera on his 70th Birthday and said, “here, learn to use this”! So I was forced to enter the digital age of technology! But Snapshot made it so easy!
They offer free lessons to help one learn to use & take advantage of the numerous features & photo products of this digital age. What I really appreciate most is that they are really able and willing to communicate their vast knowledge & instil it into, those like myself, who have not grown up with computer technology; both at point of sale & with their ongoing & reliable back-up customer service.
I have found the staff at Snapshot exceptional with their expertise and service. I was needing a point and shoot camera for my flower arrangements which produced clear images for my website. Buying a camera goes way beyond the purchase price. To get on-going help with how to operate cameras in-depth is priceless to a non-techno person like me. I love knowing the friendly staff at Snapshot are only a phone call away and nothing is too much trouble. (Unlike the larger stores, I have battled in the past). I feel that the continual service is truly Snapshot's extra advantage.
I have also got Snapshot to scan old photograph albums onto CD & produce replica photographs. There were at least 7 large albums. This was a time-consuming job for Jill but she wasn’t daunted! All photographs were produced exactly like the originals. So much appreciated. Thank you so much! I have no hesitation in recommending Snapshot at all.
We recently renovated our home which resulted in our rearranging the décor etc. We have an interesting eclectic selection of photos, a few original paintings & treasures, most of which are personal & have a story. ome of the photography dates back from 1800's & while most are original, some are the product of Snapshot's restoration and one can barely tell the difference. There will be those who read this & recall a period when the “film era” was at its height & having experienced the disappointment of photos fading, turning a yellowish orange hue. Jill also helped in restoring these memories. Of those we framed, Jill reproduced the image to the shape of an assortment of templates to suit each photo which really enhanced the images.
We don't see the point in shutting precious memories away in a book or cupboard, so we've themed areas & whole rooms with a clever mix of treasures, photography & paintings rather than matching everything. It keeps spaces fluid, easy to shift, change & refresh. I love the fridge magnets, another of Snapshots photo products, which are a 6 x 4 clear photo pocket with a magnetic backing. They not only help preserve photos but stay firmly fixed on the front of the fridge door without damaging the paint when removed. A useful gift idea too.
We'd love to see you.
