Everyday we see customers who are overwhelmed when choosing photos to print from theirphone.
They've got hundreds, or thousands of photos, they’re short on time and getting frustrated as they’re busy swiping their screen looking for the few they want. Here’s a tip that 's making it much easier for phone photographers – use the heart symbol to mark the photos you want to print as FAVOURITES!
How to Favourite Your Photos on iPhone
Open the PHOTOS app.
Tap on a photo you want to Favourite - you’ll notice a heart-shaped symbol located at the bottom. Simply tap the heart to automatically Favourite the image. Continue with more photos.
Tap on the back arrow.
Now tap on ALBUMS at the bottom of your screen.
You’ll see an album titled Favourites filled with all the shots you’ve selected with a heart.
If you decide you'd like to remove images from your Favourites album just tap on the image in the album to open it, then tap the heart again.

How to Favourite Your Android photos using GOOGLE PHOTOS
Google photos works much likeiPhone photos but uses a star instead of a heart
I’ve got a FAVOURITES album - now what?
Marking photos as favourites simply creates a “device only” album for organisation on the device itself. The FAVOURITES ALBUM doesn't actually contain a copy of the photo - just a shortcut to the photos.
iPhone
Go to your Favourites album and select the photos you want to print.
GALLERY
When you go to order photos through snapshot.co.nz on an Android (Samsung, Huawei, etc) you won’t be able to see a folder called favourites so this is the next step…
Go to FAVOURITES
Select ALL (top left corner) or just those you're printing today
Click on the three dots (top right corner)
Select Copy to Album
Create an Album called 2print (2 brings to top of list)
This will show in the list of albums when you order your prints from Snapshot
GOOGLE PHOTOS
We have looked at Google Photos but at this point in time the Favourites album does not show and we can’t see a way to quickly copy the photos marked with a star to a PRINTME folder
